Made a bus bar for the instrument panel positive loads. The brass bus bar is 1/2" wide x 3/32" thick. The cross section (less holes) is about equal to a #4 wire, so that should handle the 30 amp fused power cable. 9 spade connectors were soldered onto the bar to align with taps on the circuit breakers. The holes in the tabs were for temporary rivets to hold the tabs in place while soldering. The extra holes on the left are threaded 8-32 for connecting the positive cable and any future loads that might be added.
I'll coat the bar with insulating material to minimize a chance of shorts if something conductive falls on it and secure it to the instument panel with non-conductive hardware. A jumper wire will go from the remaining tab on the breakers to the appropriate switches.
